I was so excited when I saw this weeks prompt. It was a photo by @franciscanwallflower, and I soon as I saw the image, I knew what I wanted to create. The text on the shopping bag really inspired me, and made me think of it being portrayed as speech, instead of a tagline.
While creating my response, I had the most fun I've had with any prompt yet. I went with a style that makes me really happy, using colours that are bright and playful. It may not appeal to such a wide audience that my previous pieces have, however, as I'm making more of these posts, I'm doing it more for me and my happiness, rather than thinking about how others will perceive it.

Week 49's prompt came from @the_dahl_house on Instagram, and I was so excited when I first saw it.  As I was having so much fun with the sketchy aesthetic of my work, I decided to go for this technique again. I mostly use my personal art Instagram to have fun and express myself, so I was much less concerned with it looking perfect, and more focused on enjoying the creation process.
When I was drawing my piece, I has just purchased a new brush pack for procreate that was based on the Mid-century art style. Because of this, I used one of the dotted line brushes to finish to drawing off!

Week 47 was the first week of the challenge that I decided to participate in. I'm so glad that I did, I had so much fun making my illustration. It gave my an opportunity to test out a new, more sketchy approach and look to my work, which since then, I have continued to use. I absolutely love the way my piece turned out!
